Demographics

   - Empower specializes in providing client centered services to a diverse populations who are      experiencing multiple life stressors.

   - High percentages of families are of African American, Native African, and Native American decent.

   - In Anoka County we serve youth and their families who are involved in the correctional system.

   - We also serve individuals and families in Hennepin and Ramsey Counties.

   - Most of our work is done with ages 5-20, in the context of the family.

   - We are currently working with Bright Water Elementary and Pines School.

   - Recently we worked with Hennepin County youth, in and out-of-home due to corrections      placement.
