Employment Opportunities

Empower now has employment opportunities available for Licensed Mental Health Professionals to provide mental health services.   A Master’s degree in Marriage and family therapy, social work, or other Master’s level educational program in psychology is required. Current Mental Health Professional Licensure in good standing (e.g. LMFT,LICSW, LP) also required.  A minimum of one year of broad based clinical experience and group facilitation with culturally diverse, low-income and multiple stressor families is preferred as well as experience in diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders;  understanding of the effects of poverty, cultural difference and functional disabilities on people’s ability to obtain quality of life.
